I Just won a Free Movie Ticket!!!

Hey guys, for the last two weeks I have been using a search service called Blingo. Today I won a free movie ticket for doing nothing more then doing a normal search as I would on Google.

Below is the post from someone who described how it works so well, I'll just let him do the talking.

I don’t know about you, but I use Google several times a day. It’s my homepage, in fact.
Well, what if there were a way you could win stuff for doing something you already do anyway?

Meet Blingo.

A search engine powered by Google, but with a twist. Use their site to search and you still get the same Google search results, but each search is a chance to instantly win any of these prizes:

• Brand New Ford Escape or $20,000 cash
• $5,000 Cash
• Home Theatre Package or $2,500 cash
• $2,500 Cash
• $1,000 Cash Every Thursday
• $25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate
• Fandango Movie Ticket

Simple as that. Just search like you normally do, but each time you have a chance at winning (up to 25 chances per day, though you can do more searches than that).
If you win, you’ll see the screen to the above instead of your search results.

Blingo Friends
You can also refer people to Blingo, and when they sign up under you they become one of your “Blingo Friends.” Then, if any one of them wins a prize, you get the same prize, even if it’s a new car.
People who sign up under you can still refer other people as their own Blingo Friends.

So sign up as one of my friends and start using Blingo! Then if you win something, I win something.

After you’ve signed up, be sure to visit this page for instructions on how to set Blingo as your home page or add it to your search box.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we spent our Turkey Day with the Redmond /Woods clan at Disneyland. Despite the holiday madness at the park, everybody still had a wonderful time. Don't believe me? Look for yourself!

Support the Family, Click to VOTE

Hey everybody,

So I have two great opportunities here for all the Redmond family and friends to lend a hand by clicking your support.

FIRST, a vote for the Woods. Below is an email I received from my sister Missy:

Hey y'all!
So my mom kept encouraging us to send a picture into Southwest airlines for their Luv is a Dream Vacation Contest so I did.
Today I got an email from them saying that our picture is one of 20 that has been chosen as a finalist! CRAZY! Out of thousands of photos.
So I was hoping that you wouldn't mind voting for our picture to help us out, we would be so thankful! If our picture gets enough votes we win a trip for 4 to Walt Disney World!
Click on this link http://southwest.eprize.net/disneydream/ and please vote for the picture of Sean and Peter Pan. The picture is currently on the front page bottom row in the middle.
Peter is looking down at Sean and Sean is looking up at Peter.

I know most of you are extremely busy, but we would truly appreciate you taking a few minutes to do this for us.

Thank you all!!!!

Gary, Melissa, Sean and Madi

SECOND,
I created a little graphic that you can vote for to have it turned into a shirt...sure that is not as exciting as a trip to Disney World, but it's all I got! Unfortunately, you can only vote if you have previously made a purchase from one of the Woot.com affiliates, but I thought I'd share my graphic with you any way. Those of you capable, vote your heart out!

Thanks for your support!

Pumpkin Patch to the Rich and Famous...but they let us in anyway

What a funny place we live in. With I-5 shut down we couldn't reach Lombardi Ranch were we got our pumpkins last year, so instead we went over to the West Side and visited Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch.

When we arrived we were greeted to the sight of the paparazzi camped out in hopes of clicking pix of the celebs shopping for pumpkins. So weird. I was shocked when they didn't want to snap up a few photos of our Lilly, with a face like that, I have no clue how they resisted!

Anyway, they may not have been interested, but for the rest of you here's our day summed up in pixels.
